TEMPORARY EXHIBITION

TEMPORARY EXHIBITION

In the context of the Official Celebrations of the Elevation to Municipality, the Shoe Museum presents, on 11 October, at 2:00 p.m., the temporary exhibition "Elevated. Carolin Holzhuber footwear”.

CAROLIN HOLZHUBER is a shoe designer born in Austria who wants to destroy the line that separates Art from Fashion. Her creations reflect fascination for the sublime. Sometimes confused, sometimes disturbing, her shoes seem to defy the laws of physics, and illusion is an essential element of her aesthetic. Combining culture and craft, her work is often an artistic reflection of meaningful concepts as well as creative imaginings and interpretations of her surrounding environment

"Elevated. Carolin Holzhuber footwear" is the first exhibition of this designer in Portugal.
